Looks like dear ol' Dad's letting Icky stay! 8D Thank goodness; I thought the shenanigans were gonna get cut short!

Well I'm getting ready to break the 30... I've been making banners to use on Project wonderful. :) And once we actually do hit 30, I'll be able to put ads on here, and finally make some money off this thing! Chyeah.

There's a new voting incentive up on TWC! Now here's the thing: on my deviantART, I had a poll asking people if they were casting parts for a live-action Insta-Dinner! movie, what actors would they choose for each part. WELL I got some pretty awesome/funny suggestions and decided to illustrate it. 8D The ones on the incentive were the most popular suggestions (or the only ones; Sonya and Christopher Allen didn't get that many suggestions). This was also awesome practice for my caricatures. :) If you were someone that suggested one that didn't make it I'm sorry I couldn't illustrate them all. D: Oh well, I wish to do something like this again, so maybe next time!

Vote now HERE.

That's all the news I got, sadly. D: Eh, whatever.

Enjoy!

o boy, i love the drawing style of that, it keeps together the wacky cartoonish traces and correct body proportions, someday i gotta ask you some little things about how you work out this comic, trust me, i'll do XD

well i have mainly two big damn questions XD
first is about the workflow when making the comic story, i mean, i saw a lot of articles about it and each one says that the best is to do a different thing... either writting the story with each prhase as a detailed script, either just drawing a sketch of the whole comic and then changing everything, included the story, and, well, also there's people who suggest to do it in a lot of steps, both of what i said included...

so after that bunch of nonsensical words, here's my question:
just curious but how do you put in order your story before drawing the comic itself?

(maybe as you put it page by page as webcomic it's a bit different than when making full story ones, but anyway)

And as i already wrote a new bible instead of a reply, i'll let the other question for another day XD

Well before even writing a script, I have a notebook that I jot down ideas in (mostly of little jokes and significant events that I don't want to forget when I'm writing). When I'm writing a script, I sort of take these things I jot down and place them in chronological order, filling in what happens in between. :) It also helps to write this way because it makes the story come more naturally (something about writing straight to computer makes me feel like the flow of the story's off).

If anything though, the best way to write a script is to not really over-think your process. Just write the story as it comes to you, and try not to force ideas. :) Also remember that there's no right or wrong way to write, which is why all those articles say different things; what may work for one person may not work for someone else. ^^
